Ordinal Technology Corp have released a final version of their Nsort for SSIS, a "A High Performance Sort Component for SQL Server Integration Services". Trials are available and manual can be browsed online. As well as the faster sorting, there are some interesting features such as multiple inputs and outputs, all aimed at helping your sort your data more efficiently than ever. This is designed to scale across multiple CPUs and not be constrained by memory as with the stock sort, using temporary file storage when required.
